Description:
This is a hands on field and office field investigative management position that will entail investigation and remediation of environmental contaminants. Familiarity with industry inspection standards, mechanical equipment operations, monitoring, maintenance procedures & equipment management is a must. The ideal candidate will be able to establish client rapport and trust effortlessly.
Requirements:
- Applicant must have a science degree from a 4 year accredited University (Masters is a plus).
- Applicant must have 5 years’ (Min) full time experience with IAQ and construction practices.
- Applicant must be proficient with field sampling protocols and laboratory analysis.
- Applicant must be able to interpret lab data obtained from field sampling and provide a remedy..
- Applicant must be organized and have a professional clean appearance.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Applicant must be non-smoking. GreenWorks is a smoke-free environment.
- Applicant must be ambitious and willing to learn new testing requirements.
- Applicant must have microbial certifications (inspections and remediation).
- A plus if Applicant has Industrial Hygiene, Asbestos, Lead, Odor certifications.
- A plus if Applicant has published, written blog articles, conducted educational seminars.
- Applicants must be able to access and work in small areas including crawlspaces and attics.
Availability:
This is a Full Time Hourly position where the applicant must be available 7 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday with occasional weekend hours required. Overtime pay is available.
Office:
As we are an Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Firm, this is a non-smoking / non-vaping environment where smoking / vaping is not tolerated by the Firm or our Clients.
Compensation:
Based on experience, Company will fill in experience gaps for the right candidate.

- Applicant must be able to assess and implement field adjustments.
- Applicant must be organized and have a professional clean appearance.
- Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Applicant must be ambitious and willing to learn remediation techniques and develop modified techniques based on the unique IAQ needs of our clients.

Description:
Are you the next environmental Superstar? If so, you will need the skills and relevant work experience to get your foot in the door. We take great pride in nurturing the up-and-coming environmental professionals of tomorrow. You will work side-by-side with environmental specialists in Building Biology, Hygiene, Asbestos, Lead, Wetlands, IAQ, etc.
What to Expect
This is a hands-on field and office position that will entail being exposed to a wide array of environments with compromised Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and clients struggling from the effects of poor IAQ.
Requirements:
Only the best and brightest need apply. To be considered for the Summer/Fall or Winter/Spring internship you must:
- Maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Major in Biology or some relevant science with plans to pursue an environmental career.
- Be organized, charismatic and work well by yourself or with Clients, Staff, Sub-Contractors.
- Be able to access and work in small areas including crawlspaces and attics.
- Have a professional clean appearance w/valid driver’s license and clean record.
- Be cell phone / computer / tablet / tech savvy.
- Be comfortable with software like Google Platform, Word, Excel, etc.
- Be comfortable working with a dedicated Manager where clear goals and objectives will be set
- Prepare a written outline of what they learned at the completion of their Internship
Availability:
This is a Full Time Hourly position, 7:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday where hours are flexible based on interns schedule.

This is a paid position. Commensurate with Applicants background
Benefits:
Intern will be expected to already be covered for Accident / Liability, Auto, and Health / Life Insurance. Paid interns will be covered under the Firms Workers Compensation.
