Description:
This position entails basic office duties and client communication. The ideal candidate will be someone willing to jump right in to help keep the team running. Assistance with day to day tasks such as answering phones, setting schedules, confirming appointments, and coordinating with service teams while giving our clients the best service that they have come to expect from Greenworks Environmental.
Applicants must have or be able to:
- Be organized, charismatic and work well with Clients, Staff & Sub-Contractors.
- A working knowledge of Google Platform & Microsoft Office Applications
- Excellent organizational skills along with ability to learn quickly and manage time
- Ability to be counted on to “figure it out” and keep a positive attitude
Job responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- All aspects of client communication (initial contact, appointment scheduling, and follow-up)
- Data entry, task management & vendor/subcontractor coordination
- Basic office duties including filing, tidying, shipping, inventory & organization
Availability:
Full-time position. Our summer office hours (until October 1) are Monday-Thursday 7:30-6. Winter office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Description:
This is a hands on field and office position that will entail investigation, and oversight of Indoor Air Quality projects.
Familiarity with industry inspection standards; and mechanical equipment operations; biological monitoring, procedures & scientific equipment management is required. The ideal candidate will also be able to establish client rapport effortlessly.
Applicants must have or be able to:
- Have successful client, staff and facility management experience.
- Access and work in small areas including utility rooms, crawlspaces and attics.
- Draft, implement and oversee applicable Health and Safety guidelines.
- Draft, implement and oversee equipment and facility maintenance plans.
- Have microbial, AHERA, or OSHA certifications / licenses or comparable.
- Must have a professional clean appearance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be a non-smoker. GreenWorks is a smoke-free environment.
- Applicants must be ambitious and willing to learn the business.
- Have a Biological or Life Sciences 4-year college degree.
- Have 3-5 years fulltime management / supervisory experience.

Internship (College Intern)
This is a hands on field and office position that will entail being exposed to a wide array of environments with compromised Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
Requirements:
- Applicant must be enrolled in a 4-year collegiate program or comparable equal.
- Applicant must be organized, charismatic and work well with Clients, Staff, Sub-Contractors.
- Applicants must be able to access and work in small areas including crawlspaces and attics.
- Applicants must have a professional clean appearance w/valid driver’s license and clean record.
- Applicants must be cell phone / computer / tablet / tech savvy.
- Applicants must have working knowledge of Google Platform & Microsoft Office Applications.
- Applicants will submit a written outline of what they learned at the completion of their Internship.
Availability:
This is an hourly position. Our summer office hours (until October 1) are Monday-Thursday 7:30-6. Winter office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, with flexibility to accommodate school schedule.

Mold Sampling Technician
This is a hands on field and office position that will entail sampling for many different types of molds. Familiarity with industry inspection standards; and equipment operations, maintenance & hygiene is a must. The ideal candidate will make Client feel at ease by being friendly and accommodating to their needs. Applicant will work directly with the Senior Building Biologist on all projects.
Applicants to be a well-rounded science and customer centric professional with the following:
- Must have a science degree from a 4 year accredited University (or in process of completing).
- Must have basic entry level experience in mold sample collection.
- Must have basic experience with field sampling techniques, protocols, and laboratory analysis.
- Must be organized and have a professional clean appearance.
- Must be non-smoking, non-vaping (GreenWorks is smoke-free at all times on the job).
- Must have microbial inspection certification (or be willing to acquire within 30 days of hire)
- Must be comfortable accessing crawlspaces, attics, and working alone.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- A plus if Applicant has other environmental certifications (Industrial Hygiene, Asbestos, Lead)
- A plus if Applicant has ambition, willing to learn and grow with the industry.

- Must have a science degree from a 4 year accredited University (Masters is a plus).
- Must have 3-5 years full time experience in IAQ inspections, remediation and construction practices.
- Must be proficient with field sampling techniques, protocols, and laboratory analysis.
- Must be able to interpret lab results obtained from field sampling.
- Must be organized and have a professional clean appearance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must be non-smoking, non-vaping. GreenWorks is a smoke-free profession.
- Must be ambitious, willing to learn new testing requirements and grow with the industry.
- Must have microbial certifications (inspections and remediation).
- A plus if Applicant has Industrial Hygiene, Asbestos, Lead, Odor certifications.
- A plus if Applicant has published, written blog articles, conducted educational seminars.
- Must be comfortable accessing and work in small areas including crawlspaces and attics.
- Must be comfortable working alone and proficient at report writing.

Description:
This is a hands on field and office mold apprentice position that will entail involvement in a wide variety of residential mold projects under the direct supervision of the Sr. Building Biologist. The candidate will be someone who has lived through a mold infestation and the resulting damage it did to you, your family and your health.
You most likely didn’t know much about this when it first happened to you and now almost feel like an expert. So much so that you would want this to happen to anyone else. The ideal candidate will be able to relate to a client’s concerns in a way that will establish trust effortlessly, as trust is the biggest part of a successful mold consultation.
With your 1st hand experience you will be the main point of contact for the client which involves:
- Relating to the Clients concerns
- Exhibiting compassion and understanding.
- Getting their story written down in the form of a time line.
- Answering simple questions.
- Providing assurance that they found the right Firm to help them through this.
You will be introduced to skills that will expand your 1st hand experience like:
- What is a mold inspection vs. a mold assessment
- What is a mold remediation vs mold management
- What makes a good sample and what do the results tell you.
- How to generate clear concise recommendations.
Some Other Things:
- Some familiarity with using a computer and composing written correspondence.
- Ambition and a willingness to learn this cutting edge field.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.

Monday-Thursday 7:30-6:00pm or Part Time. Overtime pay is available when authorized.

This is an entry level, hands-on, field position that involves remediation of molds and installation of engineering controls. Some familiarity with construction and equipment operations is ideal for this position. Candidate will be a team player and willing to develop skills.
