Our Homes and Buildings need to be inspected to ensure the air we breathe is safe for our family and staff. Seasonal inspections are the key to ensuring optimal air quality. Especially after a significant flood, odor eradication, mold remediation or chronic illness. Otherwise, how do you know if the remedies to fix the problem are holding up.
Some common items we typically address during our MOM Service include:
A. Moisture Engineering Controls on Installed Devices Are Inspected
- Dehumidifiers – functioning, filters changed
- Ventilators – humidity sensors checked
- Sump Pumps – working, backup power supply, check valves, lines clear
- Devices cleansed with biocides
B. Moisture Readings
- Relative humidity
- Moisture content
- Bulk water intrusion
C. Odors Are Assessed
- Are ambient Chemical, Biological, or organic odors being detected?
- Odors associated with engineering controls
- Client’s recollection of odd odors
D. Microbial Organisms (Like Molds and Bacteria) Are Tested
- Surface, Air, Bulk samples collected
- ATP readings collected
- Particle counts taken
E. Report Card Issued
