GreenWorks Environmental Is a Certified EZ Breathe Dealer
GreenWorks Environmental has been improving indoor air quality across New Jersey for over 18 years, and we are a certified EZ Breathe dealer. An EZ Breathe ventilation system addresses poor air quality at its source, typically the basement or crawl space, by continuously exchanging stale air for fresh air. If your home recirculates stale air until the basement smells damp and indoor allergies worsen, proper ventilation breaks that loop. Here you will find each configuration we install, what it covers, how installation works, and what it costs to run. We are a family-owned business based in Wall Township. NJHIC # 13VH04630000.
EZ Breathe Units We Install
Every EZ Breathe system covers up to 7,000 square feet, moves 138 CFM, operates silently at about 35 dB, and draws 31 watts on 110 volts. The differences are in configuration and where the unit sits.

What EZ Breathe Is Used For
Damp basements and crawl spaces — where humidity concentrates and the stack effect starts. Roughly 40% of the air you breathe upstairs originates below, so dirty basement air does not stay put.
Homes with allergy or asthma symptoms indoors — indoor air pollutants run 2 to 5 times higher than outdoor air in a closed-loop home. Air exchange removes up to 85% of airborne particles and allergens.
Musty smells that keep returning — the system alleviates musty odors by removing the stagnant air and moisture that produce them, rather than masking the smell.
Preventing mold growth — reducing relative humidity is what stops mold before it starts, and the unit exhausts mold spores 24/7 rather than recirculating them.
Slab-on-grade construction — homes without a basement still trap moisture at the lowest floor, with no natural place for it to go.
Airtight and newly built homes — tighter construction traps polluted air rather than releasing it, which is why newer is not automatically better.
Tell our team what your space is doing, and we will tell you whether improved ventilation is the right answer.
What Separates Air Exchange From Dehumidifying
Air exchange versus air processing: The system's primary function is air exchange rather than filtering or dehumidifying. A dehumidifier condenses moisture from existing indoor air into a tank, while an air purifier filters that same air. Neither introduces fresh air. EZ Breathe creates whole-home air exchanges 6 to 10 times per day, drawing damp, contaminated air out from the lowest level while dry air replaces it—which is why one unit does the work of about seven dehumidifiers.
Minimal maintenance. No filters, no buckets, no recurring parts cost. EZ Breathe backs the system with a 10-year warranty on parts, covering defects under normal installation conditions and excluding misuse, neglect, or accidents. Replacement parts must be obtained from the original purchase location.
Cost over time. Traditional dehumidifiers cost $30 to $50 a month each to run, so covering an entire home adds up quickly. A single EZ Breathe unit costs $2 to $4 a month to operate with no filters to replace, making it a cost-effective option for many homeowners.
Why Buy Your EZ Breathe From GreenWorks
The Process
STEP 01
Tell Us About the Space
Describe what you are dealing with: a damp basement, a musty crawl space, symptoms that ease when you leave the house. We ask about square footage and any history of water.
STEP 02
Confirm the Unit and Configuration
We assess humidity and airflow on site, then recommend which unit fits and how it vents. Airtight homes need the balanced intake configuration.
STEP 03
Schedule Installation
The unit installs at the lowest level of your home on an exterior wall. We handle the exterior penetration and the electrical connection, and no ductwork needs to be run.
STEP 04
Commissioning and Walkthrough
We set the humidistat, confirm airflow, and show you the controls. Then we verify humidity has moved into range, because a unit running is not the same as a unit working.
