Originally called Atlantic Township, the name was changed to Colts Neck Township in 1962 based on a public referendum. How Do I Know the Contractor Did a Good Job with the Mold Remediation?

First, was the moisture intrusion source(s) corrected? If moisture is under control, a Clearance Test should be performed which is a combination of factors that include a visual inspection, review of remediation protocol, sampling, etc. Only then can you get a good idea if the area was properly brought back to normal fungal ecology.

How Long Does It Take?

Simple cleanses and spot remediation can be completed in a few hours where more elaborate remediations and restoration might take weeks. It depends on the impacts to the home and the occupants.

I Had Mold Remediated in My Home, but It’s Back. What Is Going On?

Mold is a product of hydrology, humidity and moisture. Was the source of water that caused the mold addressed as part of your remediation? We know that mold and water go hand in hand. If your environment’s hydrology are not properly managed, the mold will return. Greenworks put in our drainage system about 10 years ago so I called them because we were getting liquid into our basement. They quickly scheduled an appointment to investigate. Later on that evening a terrible odor started and I called our plumber who came and said it was the sewerage line coming into basement.

The next day I called Greenworks and they cancelled the investigation appointment and told me how to clean (disinfect/deodorize) the basement. Thank god for Greenworks and especially Tracy who I was dealing with on the phone.

I live in a 100+ year old rowhome in Baltimore with an incredibly complex mold problem. I previously removed all visible mold and gutted my house completely, but I still feel sick in the house. I've hired three mold remediators and two mold consultants, having already spent about $30k.
